1. Who this policy covers
MedNarrate provides this company website and separate software products for EMS providers, agencies, and educators. In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” mean MedNarrate. For privacy questions, email contact@mednarrate.net.
The website introduces products and receives business inquiries. The narrative-builder practices described here apply specifically to the MedNarrate app. They do not mean that MedSchedule or MedAssess stores its records only in a browser. For information about agency or educator records in those products, consult any product-specific notice or agency agreement and contact us with the product name. An organization’s own policies may also govern its users’ information.
2. Information from website visits and inquiries
If you contact us, we receive the name, email address, optional agency or organization, product interest, request type, and message you choose to provide. We use this information to respond, arrange demonstrations or access, and provide product or account support.
The contact form sends your entries to Netlify Forms, which stores the request for MedNarrate and supports email notifications so we can respond. Email you send to us is processed by email providers. Hosting and security providers may process ordinary request information such as IP addresses, requested pages, browser or device information, and timestamps to deliver and protect the website.
Do not include patient information, case details, narratives, passwords, private invitation links, or payment card details in a website form or support message. Use fictional examples when describing an interface issue.
3. Active cases in the MedNarrate narrative builder
In the MedNarrate narrative builder, active case details and narrative edits are held in the page’s memory and processed in your browser. The application does not send those case values or narrative text to MedNarrate’s account or billing services, an external AI service, or an analytics service.
Refreshing or closing the page can remove unsaved case work. If you copy or download a narrative, that copy is under your control and may be handled by your device, clipboard, downloads folder, backups, or other software you use. Follow your organization’s requirements when handling those copies.
Account storage is for validated templates and nonclinical preferences. Do not put clinical information into template names, saved template content, or saved defaults.
4. Narrative-builder accounts and payments
Creating or using a MedNarrate account involves your email address, authentication information, account identifier, saved templates and nonclinical preferences, and access or subscription status. These records support sign-in, account configuration, access control, billing, and support.
Supabase provides account authentication and account-data services. Resend delivers the narrative app’s authentication emails. Stripe processes subscription payments and its billing portal. Payment details you enter in Stripe’s checkout are handled by Stripe; the website’s contact form is not a payment channel. MedNarrate receives billing identifiers and subscription or payment-status information needed to administer access.
The narrative app uses necessary authentication cookies. Those cookies contain authentication credentials, not active case values or narrative text. Saved legacy browser configuration, where present, contains templates and nonclinical preferences, not active cases.
7. Retention and security
We retain inquiry, account, and billing records for the purposes described here, including maintaining an account, responding to requests, resolving disputes, preventing abuse, and meeting legal or financial recordkeeping obligations. Retention depends on the record and its purpose; provider logs and backups may follow separate retention schedules. Contact us to ask about a particular record.
We use access controls and service-provider protections appropriate to the information involved, but no online system or transmission is guaranteed to be completely secure. Do not send sensitive clinical or credential information through support channels.
8. Your choices and privacy requests
You can choose not to submit an inquiry, update available account settings in the relevant app, and contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold. Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have additional rights. Email contact@mednarrate.net with the product and request type, without including passwords or clinical records. We may need to verify your identity or authority and may retain records where required or permitted by law.
For information controlled by an agency or educational organization, contact that organization as well. A privacy or account-deletion request does not by itself cancel a subscription; use the product’s billing controls or ask us for cancellation help.
9. Children and policy updates
Our website and products are intended for professional and organizational use, not for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and address it.
We may update this policy as our services or information practices change. The date above identifies the current version. We will provide additional notice when required by applicable law.
